I was listening to flyleaf and one of my favorite songs started to play. I never really listened to the words of this song, but all of the sudden this line hit me..

You can only move as fast as,
Who's in front of you,
And if you assume,

So find out for yourself
So your ignorance,
Will stop bleeding through.

Its so simple, but so true. Often times we wonder why we can't get any further in christ. Why can't we keep moving!!! But the thing is, the person you are following is only going so fast! 

This shows that we will always be following someone. But our choice is who we follow. We need our brothers and sisters in christ, but our job as christians is to bring them up to speed and let them bring us up to speed. Have an accountability partner and don't be igorant to the fact that the person in front of you will fall, but we need to give them that bump or honk that speeds that back up.
